They are planning to target the mass market of Indonesia to provide products to people who are looking for a more efficient method of payments through their mobile phones.
They aim to create disruption in this conventional market and as the VP of Business Development, you are responsible to deliver the highest levels of revenue growth through partnership and strategic means.

Description

You will be reporting directly to the CEO, with impressive track records working with a renowned global Fin-Tech company. As the VP of Business Development, you will not be limited only for the growth of the business, but also in acquiring new partners, and in setting the different strategies for the business.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the CEO to grow and manage partnerships with different stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Sustaining the operations by identifying new business and generating new opportunities. .
  • Coaching, and ensuring development of the team member by driving the recruitment and training across different functions.
  • Ensuring that multiple initiatives and strategies are implemented to achieve the most efficient operation in a cost-effective manners.
  • Developing and implementing objectives, strategies to achieve the KPIs.
  • Establishing systems and procedures for controls and evaluation of the teams’ performances.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring all communications are well.
  • Building the brand in Indonesia, and to ensure that all customers’ experience are up to the standards.
  • Setting up the strategies in Indonesia, aligned with the regional, and the group’s standards to achieve standard goals.

Profile

Our client is looking for a high caliber Indonesian with consulting (strategy) abckground. This role is only opened to Indonesians who had experience in strategy management.

Without doubt you must come with an impressive track record of continual delivery and business growth. This will not only involve hitting and exceeding significant revenue targets but you must also demonstrate the ability to lead.

Other requirements include:

  • At least 5 years of working management experience in the start-up environment, investment banking, top management consultants.
  • Experience working in top MNCs is a must.
  • Entrepreneur mindset with hands-on and a can-do attitude.
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assess, recognize and reward performance.
  • Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong management capacity with proven track record in managing regional areas across Indonesia.
  • Proven sales, partnership, strategy and technical track record.
  • Drive and hunger to achieve results Independent, self-starter and initiative
  • Excellent business acumen and willingness to work within tight deadlines.
  • Previous responsibility in managing P&L of a set up/market would be preferred.
