Supply Chain Manager

Regardless of the industry, the Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the industry. In this position you are expected to help the company in logistic planning process and identify potential problems as the organization develop, manufacture, store and deliver the products.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you help the company to develop innovative strategies to reduce the costs and increase efficiency, productivity, and safety. This roles means you represents the company in negotiating logistic prices, transportation arrangement and other necessary corporate needs with contracted providers.



Successful candidate will have the responsibilities to such tasks:

  • Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
  • Coordinating and overseeing manufacturing operations in order to forecast orders and meet customer demands
  • Engage in short- and long-term planning and conduct inventory analyses for warehouse utilization and manufacturing coordination
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
  • Improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices and share warehouse data to improve productivity, quality and customer service standards
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs house brokers, warehouse managers and related third-party logical service providers
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance



To be considered for the position, applicant must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in related field
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
  • Understanding of accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge in related government policies
  • Must be able to comprehend legal documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command in English both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy is a must
  • Certification in Supply Chain or other related field is an advantage
